HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
why dont singaporeans go trick-or-treating?
seems so fun.
maybe we're an unfriendly lot :(
had chem lecture first thing in the morning.
i.dont.like.chemistry.
except maybe the naming part.
fun :D
that stupid woman keep hitting us with her roll of paper
:(
for our own good i suppose
buts its like, cannot digest the information,
so listening on to the second example will clear all our doubts?
had The Worst PW Lesson This Year next.
looking back,
i shouldnt be angry i suppose.
whats there to gain from it,
whats there to gain if everybody used different things?
so nevermind,
i'll blindfold myself.
felt so bad blowing up on ritty..
chinesechinesechinese.
itll be over on friday.
D;
had a long lunch break again,
xinyi gave me happy-chocolates.
:)
snatched up to the library to rant via blogging.
its not fair to anyone because theyre not the cause of it,
and keeping it inside me will kill me.
went for our last lesson for the day - maths.
spent most of the lesson talking cock.
cos the next time we have maths in two weeks later,
so if teach anything new now will have to repeat again anyway
randomness is so much more interesting ;x
talked about ghosts and weddings and whatnots.
spent another hour or so in the library after school
trying to not-so-self-consciously blog (and failing)
i cant even butter bread when my mum is watching,
what say blog when the screen is visible to everybody
(not like they have an interest anyway, but still)
went bloghopping instead.
bitsandpieces updated manymany :D
went popular to buy markers for my sister.
doing last minute art again, as usual.
i have a wild imagination (:
MONDAY, 3OTH OCTOBER 2006
first thing in the morning and the pe department tried to spruce things up with a "test".
actually they just wanted us to take out foolscap and stationery.
and they also wanted to be the most hated department of the school.
-.-
went through more or less the singapore graduation certificate
in which we would sing praises about ourselves.
the purpose? to "sell" ourselves to future employers.
i cant help but wonder where this would lead to.
in the past, like secondary school, the forms teachers were given the task of writing a testimonial for the students.
but the form teacher may not know the student well?
(a la "kristelle plays the piano well" by ms.yati -______- )
so what better than to let the student write for themselves?
but i still think there would be some people,
who although they have done nothing much,
still be able to write so fluently and flowery until it seems like they've been the valedictorian of the whole school.
look at what the paper chase has brought us to.
yes, even though the school still vets the self-written testimonials,
but people with the flair for writing would still be able to present it better.
or maybe that's the point?
also some people do so much for the school,
actively participating and everything,
but yet the number of events to be written is capped at three.
so what for be so proactive?
project work was more or less back to back presentations.
psyched psyched psyched psyched :D
had chinese again,
the intensive chinese timetable is killing me.
we're doing so many of the passages that by the time we sit for the a level paper
we wold have no mood and be bored out of our skulls.
but nevermind, we shall press on,
and then never have to touch that subject again
:D
there was this survey which showed that
youths know the importance of chinese,
but they still find it boring anyway.
too bad.
geography is going to be so much fun now
(at least for this two weeks).
the senoko national weather study thing.
sounds so totally nerdish hor?
;x
but hey, 10K top prize leh!
and ms. selvi & mdm. aiysha are even throwing in their own incentives - free movie tickets
:D
there's everything to gain,
and virtually nothing to lose
(except time, time, time and countless braincells)
claud, nat and i stumbled upon a potential project
how the weather affects hunger.
interesting mah?
hmmm.
i hope i can believe mdm. aiysha's words about the promo paper.
it sets my mind at ease.
:)
had a two hour break after geog and before chem,
nat, xinyi, vann and i were flipping through three mags back to back.
can peng one :D
my horoscope this month is so horrible.
its practically a horror-scope :(
finally touching on organic chem.
the start is quite disastrous.
i certainly dont like it when he says
"this -inserts longs chim word here-... you all know what's that? dont know right? nevermind we'll be teaching that later"
then why bring it up hello?
strain the brain only :(
had another one hour plus to kill while waiting for band meeting.
claud & i added some pretty useless stuff to our OP.
hmmm, will it be like drawing legs on a snake?
o.O?
aiyah, i dont think so lah, the effect not bad :D
then visited a lot of time-wasting websites
in a bid to keep awake
:(
keeping awake is getting very tedious for me.
chinese, then chem..
i could eat the whole kopiko factory :(
today during chinese
the only thing keeping me awake was the fact that
claud & jialiang were discussing about a potential class outing
this friday - kayaking!
planning to ask siewhwa along too :)
then they were discussing where to go and blah,
and mr. ong keeps asking us to not talk so much and to do our work.
so i guess when we talk more and he lectures us then i jolt awake.
geez :(
band meeting was quite demoralising.
every week of the holidays must come back,
not that im complaining, cos i miss the sax.
(the sex? -_______________-)
but it does clash with so many things.
cant perform for the christmas concert (santa hats! :C )
having band camp on the day of twe's Premiere.
in fact, if the alumni is going to perform..
hell.
:((
and there are so many things to be done.
to plan, to organize.
its wuite intimidating looking at the whole year plan
who am i to complain actually,
because all of us are in it, all for one, one for all,
and perhaps guanyu has the most stress on her.
i seriously think i shouldnt be the welfare officer.
you couldnt find a more selfish person than me, really.
:(
ms luo keeps mentioning the fact that grace brewed herbal tea and whatnots for the band,
and i feel so well, demoralised cos i dont think i could ever fill her shoes
:(
heard that we wont be getting back the promo papers.
:O
then like that how we know where we'e gone wrong?
maybe cos they scared we calculate it and the marks dont tally cos they moderate it?
:(((
wanted to catch deathnote again today.
i wanna watch again,
with mr. rawr :D
maths to be done. probability. i like :)
SUNDAY, 29TH OCTOBER 2006
went to ritesh's house to do OP!
cos he has a projector. wow wow weeeee.
its been so long since i last stepped into potong pasir.
miss those band days
reminscined alot the previous night/morning to poor lionel's ears ;x
and speaking of lionel..
he woke up earlyearly to pei me go pp.
ate breakfast too
:)))))))
ritesh lives in a masionette at the top of the hdb block!
so cool can!
and his house is something else - its a home.
and so many many books
going to plough through the shelf one day,
but im not even yet done with claud's :(
his mum cooked a nice lunch :D
and then when we came down to eat,
his bro and mum were watching tv,
so they politely went upstairs when we came down.
the tv was left switched on,
and for the next about one hour plus
ritesh, claudia, xinyi and i were watching
Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses.
SOOOO NICE LEH!
i miss my barbie dolls!
the current one is too precious to touch :)
the romance part was abit
-goosebumps-
especially when the opposite sex was around
;x
OP went well :)
planned to take 857 from pp back to yishun with claud
then realized after 15 minutes of waiting that there was no 857 service
-___________-
mrt-ed down instead.
lionel bussed with me to tamp,
went to our favourite popular (-___-)
to buy some stuffs for my sis.
her stupid drawing block, and she gave me the wrong dimensions somemore.
for that i eat up $5!
HAHA!
SATURDAY, 28TH OCTOBER 2006
day out with the girls! minus justine :(
we are a longjohn-starbucks kind of people :))
caught deathnote.
the deathgod is super cartoon.
oh, and i noticed that the movie poster has the apple there too,
in front of the deathgod.
:D
not a bad movie
quite laughable, and very cool the way they think.
kael fell in love with L.
he's also quite cartoonish,
always eating one
:D
finally get to discover when there will be after-credits movie bits
its when the "big lights" arent on yet, lol.
deathnote two seems to be much more interesting!
the girls are much prettier ;x
some trailers make me wanna watch the movies.
tenacious d & the pick of destiny!
cos its about guitars and lionel loves guitars :)
and i so cannot wait for HAPPY FEET to come out!
soon soon soon!!
went to comics connection to look for the deathnote manga after that.
L really looks like L.
haha.
went to take neoprints
theyve been the most spastic ones we've taken so far i think
;x
look, we missed justine! :D
sat around in starbucks for awhile,
java chip java chippp!
dora was sick :(
drank hazelnut chocolate.
sounds so yummy hor?
added all the different "powders" into our javachips.
jaz's face when she tasted the nutmeg was priceless :D
fortunately pig and i were smart enough not to add the nutmeg.
chocolate powder tastes like milo powder.
cinnamon powder.. reminds me of cinnamon fries from taco bell!
and vanilla powder was yummy.
walked half the way home with pig.
today the cold war ended.
door closed.
but another door opened..
FRIDAY, 28TH OCTOBER 2006
raided the library for more foxtrot and the far side.
:DDD
-------------------------------------------------------
one day a man and his son brought their donkey to the market to sell.
all of them walked to the market.
along the way, they met a man,
who, as he walked past, said:
"why are you two so stupid? the donkey can be used to carry one of you."
the man and his son thought it was quite logical,
and the son, being filial, insisted his father rode the donkey.
and so they continued, the boy walking, and the father riding the donkey.
then a woman walked past, and she muttered under her breath:
"what an inconsiderate father, allowing his poor son to trudge alongside while he enjoys the ride."
the father immediately felt ashamed, and bade his son to ride the donkey.
along came another lday, who turned up her nose at the trio.
"what an unfilial son, riding the donkey while his old man walks beside!"
i forgot the ending to the story,
but i bet the man and his son were pretty upset.
and thats just it.
we cant please everyone,
and as they say,
one man's trash is another man's treasure.
for so long ive been wondering,
how do you make friends with somebody who doesnt want to make friends with you?
finally got the answer - dont.
ive always tried to be objective,
but i realize i too, am very hypocritical.
i can just shoot off my mouth at something without knowing the full story,
and over time i realize things are not what i thought them to be.
somehow listening to "tits",
i felt sad, like "what on earth did i do to deserve this?"
but when i thought about lionel, xinyi, vann, claudia, pig, jaz..
and the way tits told me he had "quite a violent reaction",
i found out i was actually happier than sad.
is it because we must be wrong to know what's right?
we must feel the pain before we know what's bliss?
well it did seem so.
i want to spend more time with the people who value me,
and not waste my time chasing butterflies.
:)
whats. wrong. with. the. script?
its really alright if you guys dont want to follow it,
im not holding knives to your necks or anything.
then i dont need to stay up all night to convert the written report into a speech too right?
granted, yes, you might want something impromptu,
you dont want to read off the cards
but look at the impromptu-ness.
rattling off and then ending in "..... uh, ya. so.."
impromptu and then forgetting what comes next,
forgetting what to do.
is that the idea?
is it because you dont want to follow the script because its too dry?
because it would seem very fake?
because it would be like just reading off paper?
then we could rewrite the presentation right...?
we worked so hard to co-ordinate everything.
are we throwing it down the drain?
so yes, forgot to bring the script,
that's fine,
but the chickafil part was really uncalled for.
im not just talking about its name, which is actually chick-fil-a.
we're not talking about the campaign,
we're talking about the success of the campaign.
eat more chickens and leave the cows alone?
i could have killed myself.
i was so fucking disappointed,
not in the people, dont get me wrong.
its because we had worked so hard.
we spent so much time on it,
and we could have done so much better,
why arent we doing it??
the whole presentation just disintegrated.
i'd hate for people to think im overly stressed over project work.
xinyi, claudia and ritesh are some of the nicest people to work with.
but today was the worst lesson ever.
its like the "hatch" incident,
but this time round its not that small of a molehill.
i was angry.
i still am.
and i feel so helpless.
suddenly almost everyone's having black backgrounds, white fonts and coloured keypoints.
its so dull, that minyi's group's slides are becoming like a breath of fresh air.
indeed, we could come across as being very "zilian",
like as though our slides are so damn good,
so much so other people want to borrow the ideas we used.
but that's the truth to me.
especially to me.
and i feel so unjustified because we cant do anything about it,
because we all have different accessors,
so the accessors wont be seeing the same things three times over.
so what for bother to differentiate?
looking back it seems like there's a diplomatic solution,
we could go up to them and say
"hey, that's abit similar to our presentation, could you change it please?"
i hate it.
what the fuck happened to originality?
claudia said a firm could compy another's management and system and everything,
but it could never get the other's culture.
why dont you just try out other original ideas of your own?
underline, bold, change font size,
is there a need to do what we did?
the ovals circling the percentages too.
when i saw that i wanted to burn the school down.
its not that i have anything against the other groups
i love my class very much.
its not that i want their slides to look bad so that we can look good in comparison.
but i think its gone too far.
i hate hate hate hate hate hate it.
you could say im selfish.
you could say im petty.
i dont want to be the same as the rest.
but then again i dont want to change,
just because others copied it.
why am i saying they copied us?
im not being paranoid.
im not being possessive of my ideals.
im not the only one who can see it.
im not the only one who can put two and two together.
and what i especially abhore is the fact that we were last to present.
i wasnt even in the right mind.
i wanted to shoot each sentence,
shoot down everybody.
i fucking hate oral presentation the way its going
maybe im only disappointed in myself..
heeheeheeeeeeeeee.
ran through OP abit today.
yays to our group
loveloveloveloveloveloveeeeeeeee.
cant wait for sunday to meet up and tweak the OP stuffos.
will be going to ritty's house
been a long time since i stepped into potongpasir aye.
started off the day dreading the four and a half hours of chinese.
granted, yes, three hours would be a mock exam,
but still, one and a half hours of lesson is quite kill-able.
almost jumped for joy (or maybe we did) when we heard chinese was cancelled
:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
did the mock exam,
finished the composition with half an hour to spare,
so i slept
kept having nightmares that the second paper was already given out,
and i overslept and didnt get to complete it, lol
:D
in all, slept about 1 out of 3 hours of the paper.
that's like an hour off the sleep debt i have to pay over the weekend.
woohoo.
had two and a half hours before the next lesson.
since minyi said we would all feature jialiang on our blogs today,
so here you go minn ;P
today jialiang's order went "auntie, chicken rice dont want chicken"
lol.
he does have quite a thing over chikin.
jiahao & xinyi were like -__________- "why dont you just say charsiew fan (rice) or something else?"
which is quite logical, haha.
kopped his roasted pork meat.
woohoo! :D
and lionel.
the thorn among the roses hor.
the five roses. lol.
machiam bouquet leh, surrounded somemore.
you watch out ah.
;x
went for projectwork in complab four.
vann gave me a reallyreally sweet surprise when she slipped a note and a bar of kopiko inside my bag.
thanks vann, soso much (:
its like, this whole issue with my mum is affecting me more than i let it show.
its always on the back of my mind,
and its bringing me down-er than i have ever felt.
its not a kind of sadness i can just cry out and be done with it.
its a difficult sadness, uneasiness to overcome.maybe its because she's my mum, its permanent.
thank goodness for people like vann, xinyi & lionel..
today was once again reminded on different ideals on the same issue.
i dont think its a cause for fights.
whats wrong with having different perceptions of the same issue?
its like homosexuality.
some are for it, some are against it,
and seriously, its not like "oh, mine is correct, so yours must be wrong."
and is it because of this,
such that when i assume your thinking is the same as mine,
but its not,
and i dont know,
because you dont tell me,
and so we fight.
:O?
why cant we all talk to each other?
:(
every one of us would so like to find that confidante.
someone whom we can pour out all our troubles to,
someone who wont run away in bad times, or good times too.
someone who would understand if we look for them when things go wrong, and not only when things go wrong.
for most people,
their confidante is their other half - the girlfriend or the boyfriend.
and this is just it.
why cant there be more than one confidante?
is it a matter if you can find more than one person to turn to, to confide in?
it doesnt mean just because you can find another person who understands you, then the first person is less important - yes?
and sometimes we need to know that not everything are reversible reactions, twoway relations.
you may be the bestfriend of a person you treat only as a friend.
"only as a friend" need not mean you are any less important.
it may seem like the other person does not value you as much as you do him/her,
but is it a matter?
is it a matter if the person is still willing to share with you, to be there for you?
we all have our different levels of friendship which we classify different people under,
and sometimes our " best friend" may not be equal to other people's definition of "best friends"
but so what.
darn am i rambling today.
;/
coupledom was a tad rocky today
and was feeling badbadbad about it
:(
thankgoodness it was over in about 100 metres.
lol.
everything's about pride, is it not?
sometimes its hard to swallow our own pride, even if it would make things better and there's no harm doing it.
even in the face of your loved ones.
somehow its easier to be warmer and more vulnerable when people are not talking face to face.
hrrmmmms.
dear mum,
hello mum. today you said i was disrespectful because i am having a cold war with you. mummy, if im having a cold war with you, i shouldnt be talking to you. fact is, i am. you're ignoring me, and you know it. does being my mum means you can have a cold war with me, and say im doing it? if this is what being a mum is all about, i dont want to become one. this evening when i said "mum, eat" you said "eat" back, even if it was a disgruntled one. but you made me happy, mummy. you did.
- kristelle.
or so i think
:(
it aint a great way to start off the day you know.
today was falling asleep all over chinese,
so i ate that herbal candy sweet mr.keith gave me.
IT WORKED!
only because it was so difficult to eat, lol ;x
i am very psyched about oral presentation
:D
chemistry is starting to become a killer with organi chem.
help.
and claudia!
today's newspaper ran an article on hugh grant - the charmer!
i know you're gonna frame it up.
hohoho.
and, lastly,
LAY OFF, HAZE!
hohoho
yesterday and today the haze was indeed more or less gone.
this evening it totally poured.
the weather was cold, but the heart was sososososo warm ((:
dearest mummy,
hello mum, today you ignored me again. when you came downstairs for breakfast i said hello, you didnt say anything. when you dropped me off at tanahmerah i said thanks and bye, you didnt say anything. when i came home hope sparked when carin said "why are you so wet?!" and you said "you got no umbrella ah!" but later you scolded me to change out of my wet shirt. during dinner i said "mum, eat" but you didnt say anything too. this is affecting me ery much. throughtout the whole day my heart wasnt feeling good. yesterday night i was the most agitated i had ever been for a long time. my book flew across the room, as did my hairband, and it could jolly well had been my hair. i was so angry and felt so unjustified when lionel said "she's your mum". does being my mum really mean you can ignore me like this? why mum dearest, i am all of gone now.
- kristelle.
feeling 90% happy today
:D
darl gave me a wake up call
:)
was up at 1045 and out of the house in an hour.
didnt see nobody, lalala.
met up with my darling kaelyn!
at last!
she's changed so much, even her's name's changed.
:D
okay no, she's still pinyi but with an additional name.
:D
went to far east,
ate kfc,
oh no :(
and then it was shopping mania!
we went into manymany shops and tried manymany stuffs.
she bought a brown shirt!
;D
the brown shoes i wanted was out of stock
sad can? :(
but still bought two pairs :D
woohoo
kristelle is a 90% happy girl today
:DDD
pig asked if i wanted to do a numerology reading
but i was scared
:(((
left far east around three,
went to the shopping mall beside it,
there's a yami yoghurt cafe there, oh.my.goodness!
i didnt know leh.
sat and rest (:
yami yoghurt, yami yoghurt!
after that walked to heerens and somewhere near there.
took neos
teeheehee
so fun when the machine doesnt countdown.
went to the esprit shop beside heeren or what.
its a huge shop i say.
D;
found a seventy-nine dollars red jacket,
but it wasnt the one we were looking for.
then we went home.
it was a great day out with my bestfriend today,
and im 90% happy.
100% happy with her, i mean, but 90% overall.
because i didnt get to go to the zoo and see my lion today :(
but im a tad happier cos i was wearing the straw stars earrings,
and cos i'll be seeing him in about 8 hours ((:
cleaned out liotin's hotel today.
mmhmms.
looks happier now.
(:
i keep forgetting to mention.
doing the human geog paper wasnt so painful,
because the pe department was invigilating.
mr keith was walking around,
and he placed a sweet on my table.
so sweet, literally ((((((:
wonder if it would constitute to cheating.
LOL.
maybe if i had opened up the wrapper, there were answers inside?
LOL, yah sure.
anyway its still unopened now
;D
later needed to use strings to tie the paper
and i couldnt find the string.
he gave me three and said "so that you can braid them."
lol!
and guess what,
i did braid them.
ahahaha.
cos they werent collecting yet,
and so i was bored
;x
woo!
i like mr. keith.
made my geog paper better.
yj's mean.
theyre making all of us live in constant dread until 17th.
:(
came across a line which said
"if you think you wouldnt like the answer you dont want to hear, then you shouldnt ask the question"
cos sunday's newspaper had an article on something like what spouses ask their other half.
stupid things, i mean.
like the journalist overheard his girl asking her boyfriend
'if you werent dating me.. which of my friends would you date?"
and the guy was like "none..." (obviously!)
then the girl still asked "hypothetically...?"
"well.. so-and-so is kind of cute.."
its like,
the girl obviously doesnt want to hear that,
but yet she keeps asking,
she should go to hell.
and the ever "am i fat?" question,
if the guy says
1) no - he's lying
2) yes - he's dead.
both ways the typical girl isnt going to be happy ;x
stupid things some people do.
and talkg to claud on monday,
realized that the good stuff always end?
like best friends,
click so well,
click too well?
until then both fall out and apart.
like recently when i was swell with my mum,
and now its a different story.
ohmygosh,
i'd better stat quarrelling more with lionel
:(
hello mum, like you will ever get to read this, but i really seriously need to get this off my chest and who deserves to know it more than you? i know right now you must be thinking"well hey, look, kristelle is such a stubborn, rude etcetc daughter. i brought her to far east and just told her i'll stand outside the shop because i have a headache when i go in and listen to all that young, loud music. so when she sees something she likes she can just come out and ask me to go in and look at it and pay up. i dont mind, really. and then she starts throwing a tantrum and making me walk after her around the whole shopping center while she didnt go into any shop at all. she made me so angry until i just upped and left. and now she's throwing a tantrum at home too, having a cold war with me." sure mum, im the daughter in question right? ive come across a line which read something like "children should forgive parents when they fight with them, because its their first time being parents too" and i really believe that. nobody can teach someone to be a parent, and nobody can have been a parent before without being one now. and even though they say parents should respect their children as much as their children should respect them, i've never believed it. parents are authority. they say yes, you cannot say no. you say your version of shopping, with me, is that i go out and about first, with my friends, looking at the things i want, and then when i want to buy i look for you, and we go out together so you can provide the money. so even though i have my feelings about this issue, yet because im your child, when you say black, i cannot say white. i cannot say, hi mum, i just want to spend the day going into all the different shops with you so that we can look at the same things together. i dont want to treat you like an atm, when i want it, then i go to you for money. and its a very stressing experience, you cannot shop in peace when you know there's somebody outside there, waiting. its not only about shopping, its not only i who feels stressed up when people are waiting for me. today pinyi agreed with me, in a sense. she too, cannot shop when her mum says she'll wait outside. look mum, even if you didnt mind, i dont want to go around doing my thing while you just wait for me. so you dont mind, but it affects me so much, and do you think i shop feeling like that? mum, i was looking forward to shopping with you all through the week. it was part of my motivation to get through promos, and spend the saturday with you - it wasnt so much of the shopping. you said far east was loud, it gave you headaches. so why couldnt you tell me? you said you had expected me to have gone and seen something worth buying at far east, so thats why you brought me? now i sort of know the crux of the issue, its that we both have different ideas about shopping. when i told you mine, you only said "okay, fine. now you've learnt a lesson" ive learnt a lesson? mum, what about you? have you learnt anything about your daughter? once again, you say sea, i cannot say ship. its either your idea, or mine. you just pushed your idea of shopping onto me, without caring about what mine was. you say park, i cannot say trees, mummy. at the first shop you had already put me so down, can you blame me for moping around? you said it was my fault for making you so pissed by making you walk around the shopping center. so it was my fault - and why? its my fault for caring about your feelings now, is that it? so when you say "i dont mind" so im not supposed to care. if only it were that simple. if only you had said "i dont mind" and i said "okay, nevermind lets go to another place where you and i can shop together" but that really defeats the purpose, no? i asked to go far east because i knew there were shoes there i liked. i dont know what shoes i was going to buy, but i knew there were shoes. you never gave me the chance. you never gave me the chance of shopping for something i would want to buy with you. so you may say but thats your idea of shopping - me looking out for something i want, then going to find you. okay mum, ive learnt my lesson. and ive never been so disappointed to know that i cannot just go out and shop with my family for something i want. i already said it was something i wanted, so you still brought me, and blamed me for it? cold war. ive spent less than six hours awake in this house since saturday. know why? i cannot speak to you. you only have that pissed off voice to answer me. i say "mum, eat" during dinner and you didnt bother answering me. yet you could when carin said it, when korkor said it. mum, i dont mind even walking to the mrt station at 5:45 am if you hate me that much. i didnt show you the shoes i bought, because it wouldnt make a difference to you. i keep the shoes in my room so that you both dont ever use it, because you both couldnt bother shopping with me for it. do i sound so petty? do i sound like im making a mountain out of a molehill of shopping? its not about shopping mum, its about you and me. im sorry for being such a lousy daughter, yes.
- kristelle
happyhappyhappy birthday to florflor and matt!
the first being one of the nicest pals ive known since k1,
and the other, my butler. hohoho.
had a halfday today,
and as minyi correctly put it,
while other schools' halfdays meant release at around 10,
yj's halfday literally means half a day, at 13 o'clock (ie, one pm)
some halfday
-_______________-
had one and a half hours of chinese
c7's aircon is super cold D;
and somemore on the whiteboard was written "air condition not working"
the person who wrote that must have been a polar bear.
got back chinese results,
for a while there couldnt breathe,
but did fairly okay (:
jialiang kept singing the sars song which got stuck in my head
and the his lyrics were hilarious
"*beep* is a teacher,
that i just want to butcher"
LOL!
can you believe we're getting back all our promo results on one single fine day?
the last day of school, 17th november.
what a doomsday.
;/
after chinese had three hours of gp, which flew by.
first we had a mass lecture (lionel! <3)
ms. tan su linn is an engaging speaker.
save for the times she rattles off.
so yes, didnt really fall asleep.
after that we were all supposed to squeeze into comp labs 4 and 5
poor 122, all thrown out in the corridor cos no space :(
in the end we used the thirdfloor jblock classrooms,
and since each classroom only had one comp,
each group had to use one classroom each.
SO FUN!
hohoho.
like hotel like that.
and could use the visualizer too,
really helped in seeing how our slides would show up (:
and we've finished the slides!
ms tan said it was good and nice
;DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
after school went out for a (sub)122 class outing.
back to vivo.
three out of four days ive been to vivo -________-
we were spastic on the mrt,
waving to people on the platform
;D
i suppose we werent very sensitive,
and we owe izzy an apology because it slipped our minds that he was fasting :(
apologized to him already and he said it was alright ((:
headed straight to the foodcourt,
the table looked nice with all the manymany food ;D
then went to candy empire
oooooooooooooooooooh.
but it was so superly crowded.
:O
went to walkabouts,
toys r us!
:D
more walkabouts,
adrian, izzy and jeremy bade us farewell.
more more more walkabouts,
decided to go wisma to show claud the dollhouse exhibits.
jialiang promptly refused to tap in,
so bade farewell to him too.
huishan went off,
so left grace, claud, vann, xinyi & yours truly
and lo and behold,
the dolls had moved house.
aye :(
spent some time walking around,
my legs are so killing me, lol.
sat at mac to icecream for abit.
talking and laughing.
oh yes, we laughed loads.
somehow that always seems to happen with vann around
;x
theyre a great buncha people who i dont regret getting to know (:
met nic!
it was damn funny,
cos she was with a group of friends,
and i knew her,
and grace knew one of them too.
oh boy oh boy, i missed nic!
had to cancel tmr's outing because things cropped up.
:(
but all is not lost!
going out with pigpigpig tomorrow!
shopping, and i know this will be loads better than with my family.
wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!
there's only one teeny weeny problem which struck us just now
i dont know how to go,
and she's not sure either.
ah wells, we'll just get lost then
;D
went to yishun,
because im such a kind soul to pei claudia..
lol, okay partly
;D
pei-ed my precious snail to eat dinner
long john fries!
:DDDD
was feeling veryvery full from the earlier lunch.
saw siewhwa near the bus interchange!
she looked up and was like "oh my god!"
lol.
the stickers printing business looks fun
;D
and she said getting back the results all at one shot very good what,
can sad all at one go.
hmmmms, logical.
;D
FRIDAY, 20TH OCTOBER 2006
during promos period,
felt like i wanted to be a snowball.
tough climbing up a hill as a movable super snow flake.
at at my peak, that's where i'll sit for promos!
- inserts shining snow flake with happy face here -
and then after promos,
i'll tumble down the hill,
gathering many other happy snowflakes like myself,
and form a huge snowball,
snowballing down to the foot of the hill and beyond!
but after the geog papers i felt more like a disintegrated ball of slush
smashed smithereen-like at the foot of the hill
(kinda like a granite boulder field.. but ugh, thats another story ;x )
mdm.aiysha told us to read the question carefully
i read it too carefully i think
kept looking at the words "analyze" or "discuss"
and failed to see what issue the questions were talking about
oh.my.goodness, i can so go and kill myself now, tata.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
but i wont,
because i want to bring more misery to the people around me
;D
so, The Day We Were All Waiting For finally dawned.
promotional exams are so over
-kicks promos in the butt
now, where did we go after the paper?
lionel was the sweetest, pei-ing me to school then go back home, then come out again
woohoo! iloveyoudarling :)
went burgerking to eat
must be the only yjcians still hanging around in yishun post-promos
D;
but when ure hungry, ure hungry, okay?
then it was off to vivocity!
whoosh!
vivocity is weird, lol.
its shapeless, youknow?
i thought maybe knowing the basic shape of the mall will let me feel less lost,
but apparently vivo doesnt have a very definite shape.
wasnt as crowded as i thought
maybe cos it was friday
maybe cos it was friday morning
maybe cos it was friday morning when everybody else was in school/work
anyway even if there were alot of people,
the space more than makes up for it,
its bloody spacious.
its like,
why didnt they build highrise high density houses here to save the population and not pose a strain on the country's resources?
oh, wait, that's geog ;/
but oooh i love the floor
its the same as marina square's one
heeheehee :D
and vivo,
there's no direction to walk.
;/
walked around and about,
the air conditioning is very cold
maybe cos its new.
toys r us totally rocks can? ;x
first thing you see is a bigbig screen
and you can see yourself in it bigbig,
cos there's a camera there.
all the happy kids jumping around, startled by themselves.
and its very fun! ;D
the place to deposit the bags is an ark,
and the cashier counter is totally adorable cannnnnn.
its a train!
choochoo, chuggachugga :DDDDDDDD
want to work at a toys store :D
and there was this part on the toys r us giraffe in outer space
and the ceiling damn nice can?
next time my house like that
;DDD
went to the third floor and its an outside space already
felt like a cruise ship
so nice,
save for the haze ;(
oh, there's a candy empire!
:O!
reminds me of the candy shop in australia.
THAT's a candy store :DDDD
went to bugis,
cos felt like so long never go bugis
eh, what am i saying?
so long havent been anywhere.
went to bras besar complex as well.
lookg at lionel looking at guitars,
i feel like..
woo, so cool.
hahahahaha
met russell there,
wonder how the secfours are doing.
pig messaged me a very random smiley
i miss you too dahling!
yesyes, we shall catch a movie with the girls ((((((((:
and then.. right, flashback!
in the morning,
when claud said she was going library,
me and nat said she was crazy and she cant get over promos etcetc..
and guess who went to the library too?
;D
ive found my mutts at last!
;D
theyre the cutect comic characters ever.
arent they adorable?!!!
(thats not really a question ;D)
and practically zapped out the whole collection of The Far Side.
i like :D
the zapping-out (ie, the borrowing) system is so cool, lol
okay, so we are library suaku-s.
and there was the singapore biennale thing going on inside
the shelves upon shelves of empty white books,
and of course the "burning" books,
which was quite interesting.
tried finding the pictures of it,
but couldnt find it (obviously, cos i didnt post them up)
went to dhoby gaut,
intended to go dhoby x-change,
and the pepper lunch there
met felicia & jiayu there too ;D
dhoby x-change is so squeaky clean
and the whole place smelt of..
i dontknow, i forgot.
pepper lunch was chocked full,
went off to taka instead
-skips
i love pepper lunch!
know why?
cos i love lionel too
hohoho ;D
and pepperlunched for dinner.
its a good thing to eat when ure hungry (:
walked around in abit then went home.
spent like ten hours together,
and its still not enough,
its never enough!
-laughs evilly
wisma had this dollhouse exhibition,
nicenice,
and some are, uh, weird.
my pedometer measured more than 10,000 steps!
;D
-pressure, is measure in pascals, pa.
SATURDAY, 21st OCTOBER 2006
was up bright and early again!
which is considered abit pervertic in my standards.
:o
but my mum likes to go shopping malls in the morning,
where then, there are less people.
guess where we went?
back to vivo can?
-____________-
caught sight of alot of vivo gimmicks
cute! ;D
especially the two guys who were zooming around on weird things.
i mean the things cute, not the guys.
kept wanting to push them off and zoom off instead, hohoho
walked many many hours
(in fact, only two, but it felt like eternity)
ate lunch at the very perfect-competition banquet + kopitiam.
kopitiam was the cashless dining,
and we didnt have the card so went banquet instead.
blue chairs versus red,
so damn lame can?
;/
after vivo-ing,
went to far east for awhile.
came home,
slept.
mum had a sudden craving for kfc since morning
so ate kfc for dinner
:o
and then,
had chendol.
double :o
im going to weigh twice as much as before when im through celebrating.
TODAY
happyhappyhappy birthday to amykohmairu (:
left the house at an early of six o'clock.
the house wasnt even awake yet
D;
(oh.my.goodness, i feel like a pervert waking up so early! after promos too! T-T)
met my darlingdarling for breakfast
(((((((((((((:
went to claud's house
finished up the op slides with alot of sidetracking thrown in
;D
woohoo!
i love my op slides!
-jiggles
and claud said lionel was sweet to wake up to pei me
(((((((:
went to northpoint at noon,
claud went off for piano,
so there wasnt really a venue to continue pw, know?
went up to popular to get paper paper paper
(to make florence a card :D)
tralalalala.
tried to rush to tampines so that he could get to church on time,
but we were a tad late
;( but more of :DDDD
went home and changed,
then sat outside at the void deck making florflor a card
;DDDDDDDDDD
i love her cards, i do
theyre nice and thoughtful and so full of florence (:
took lionel and myself on a journey-to-the-past trip,
my old house at bedok south,
and all the rollerblading and waiting for school bus and everything,
yes, i do miss that place so manymany :((
and they built alot of things at the place previously known as The Ring.
aye.
no more bloody slopes to slide down and knock into the railings!
DD;
couldnt remember florence's address,
so went right up to her house to look at the door number
and then went to post the card right into the letterbox
;D
then went to eat at the bedok south market there,
was so looking forward to eating the udon,
sat down in front of the stall,
and it closed in my face!
:OOOOOO
at least it made a decision for me on what to eat
;D
considered calling on ahpohkuanyi,
but decided against it,
namely because we were walking the other way ;D
walked to bedok central after that,
went to the library
(yes! we love libraries!)
bedok library has this pretty cool science exhibition thingo about magnets
its quite fun.
now, dont you think we sound every part the nerd?
(:
but instead of looking for all those heavyheavy encyclopedias,
we headed straight for the comics again
;DDD
but it was messy
so we didnt try searching for anything.
trained down to bugis,
for what else?
the national library!
hohohohoho.
and i do so want to go bishan library.
its a post-promos thing, ohmy.
anyway!
took out all the foxtrot comics there were, lol.
i love foxtrot, the far side and lionel!
;P
isnt it wonderful?
now waiting for bus no need to read geog/econs notes,
can read comics!
:DDDDDDDDD
mos burgered for dinner
seriously, i felt like eating alot today,
pardon my piggishness :(
came home,
I&R-ed in twenty minutes,
and here i am,
logging off (:
last time when i went out with lionel, curina, shihui & martin,
we walked almost every shop, nook and cranny in far east.
they (the girls at least) tried millions of things,
then they were all asking me like, why arent you trying on anything?
and i said, i shop with my family.
whhhaatttttt tttthhhhheeeee fffffuuuuuuccccccccckkkkkkkk
some judgement i made.
my idea of shopping,
was to walk around, maybe aimlessly, but still together,
you giving your opinion,
i giving mine.
not, you stand outside until i want you then i call you and get money.
she didnt tell me she would have headaches going inside the shop,
and im in the wrong for not wanting to treat my mum like an atm.
im in the wrong for pulling them to go far east.
if they bloody didnt want to, they can say so, alright?
why wait till ive looked forward to it all through promos,
then bring them there,
and then they dont even fucking want to give a glance at the things i want them to see,
so, far east is an ahlian place,
so every single fucking thing there is ahlian?
coming home,
i was still being scolded,
for "leading me around the whole shopping center until i felt so angry and i said, whatsthepoint? so i just went off"
you're angry?
you're angry?
what about me?
you didnt know how much ive looked forward to shopping with my mum?
you didnt know how hurt i was when you dont even want to look at what i brought you here to look at?
so its my fault for being down and so fucking out of the mood after that?
and its my fault for not telling you that i want, that i value your opinion?!
going to dinner,
not even looking at me,
i could have stayed in the car and you would have locked it without even noticing i wasnt around
BLOODY FUCKING HELL was i invisible.
offer to buy also wont look at me,
fine.
fine fine fine fine fine.
this afternoon came back home
and since im as significant as a fucking broken lamp post,
said hi and as everybody else was more interested in the tv,
rather than a sister who had apparently disappeared since five am,
i was much happier scooting out of the house in about twenty minutes.
so overall ive only seen them for about less than an hour the whole of today.
do you blame me?
(:
now i know the true importance of friendship,
and i value them for being there to shop with me,
because thats what friends are for,
especially when family lets you down.
ah,
imma clearer on geog (:
anyway found this on bitsandpieces.
the picture is so.. devastating and eerie.
and very linked to geography :D
bored lionel half-to-tears with population resource theories,
all the doom&gloom, world is not enough shyt.
realized we people are sooooooo weird.
all the negative theories (ie, the world is going to end!),
all have thousand-and-one limitations,
criticisms,
and whatnot
(okay, maybe only about three each, and they're quite logical, but thats a minor detail)
meanwhile the positive one,
there's only one limitation,
which is glossed over because "however, recently there has been.."
we see only what we want to see.
we acknowledge only things we want to acknowledge.
screw geog.
and another reason to :((( geog,
while the three-quarters of yjcians are done and over with promos,
geographers and h2 chinese still have one more day to go.
(why is geog paper always the last? even in temasek! :o)
but geographers, let us not fret
because h2 chinese ends later than us
AHAHAHA
-points at minyi and laughs evilly
okay, no, im joking ;x
besides, the rest of yj must already be gloating
(read, martin lim meng kiat)
maths paper was fun today.
and for once there was no lack of time.
yay maths!
and thank goodness for my darling maths guru ;D
the questions which i didnt know,
lucky i had him to ask,
and clarify,
and they came out!
wooohoo ;D
the after-promos timetables are out.
coming monday is a halfday!
due to our *ahem* "improved punctuality rate"
wahlau, want marking day just say lah,
we wont say the teachers lousy cos cannot mark finish one.
but the holiday lessons end at a freaking five every day!
every. single. day!
im only looking forward to it if we're learning something new,
if we're doing something fun
if its interesting,
if we're given alot of breaks
if the teachers wore bunny ears and ballet/tapdance across the lts.
meaning its wishful thinking :(
ah, mr. ong told us to "do well for the last paper, keep up the good work"
-HINT RADAR GOES HAYWIRE
hopefully its really "good work" (:
back to geog-ing.
ive shifted to the study room to study, instead of in the living room.
its bloody warm :(
vivocity-ing tomorrow!
and my mum is taking us shopping on saturday
imma gonna suck all her money out
whoosh!
WAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
okay im very hyped over the paper,
and over the end of the paper.
"GLOBALIZATION IS EASY.
GLOBALIZATION IS SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND.
GLOBALIZATION IS INTERESTING."
my mantra of the day,
written bigbig in front of me when i study
SUBLIMAL MOTIVATION, LOL.
feeling loads happier now.
afternoon was no better than morning.
this time logarithms were dragging me down.
thank goodness i had a saviour on the telephone
lionel koh, wo ai ni! :D
(and its not just for helping me with the maths ((: )
i like differentiation & integration.
more than the rest anyway.
except for graphing techniques,
for that i love the graphic calculator.
gotta be really careful about doing maths
mdm. aiysha said its a battle out there
and we're on the hunt for marks.
dont know the question, skip.
get all the possible marks first.
aye.
- kaelyn dear, please get well soon. stop breathing ;D
i am frigging insecure about the human geog paper.
after spending one whole morning on migration,
and realizing i cant absorb anything.
globalization is nagging at the back of my mind,
jeering and sneering,
knowing i cannot finish and understand it in time for friday.
what do you know,
they were right.
it really is doom and gloom.
if i were an asthmatic,
i'd keel over and die on my way home
the haze is worsening.
some guy on the bus, he's friends with the bus driver,
he just has to sit about half the bus away from the driver and converse
basically everybody wanted to catch some shut-eye on the bus
basically everybody wanted some peace & quiet on the long ride to tamp
basically everybody wanted to slap the guy in the face and tell him to shut up.
(or maybe only me, because i was sitting directly behind him ;x)
anyway the relevance of this guy is:
he was telling his bus driver friend that the psi is at 106.
and hell if he had to get on the same train as me,
get off at tanahmerah the same as i do
and walk half the same distance home
-_____________-
ah, walking home.
so, the haze-o-meter's at 106
and then there's like three houses going under construction
all the -coughs- sand and -coughcough- dust particles coming to play~
anyway
all my hopes are kind of dashed by today's physical geog paper.
wish i had a mars bar before the exam :(
couldnt collect all my wits and i had to sit at the desk,
hands clasped,
eyes closed,
imagining the word "PEACE! -peace sign-" flashing in my head.
GAHHHH.
lack of time.
lack of time.
lack of time.
LACK OF TIME.
all the practice in the world couldnt make up for lack of time
unless you view it as regurgitation in a sense
(you do the essay over and over until you write every single word in order)
application to the question takes time.
and dang if we didnt know how to do the case study
mixed everything up
do you think they can mark 2 questions in 1?
(ie, two questions but one answer given, responding to both questions)
NEVERMIND, CONFUSING.
dont strain the brain.
went to school at normal time today
1) LIONEL LIONEL LIONEL!
and he daresay the picture was idiotic because of "that stupid..."
-bangs head on wall :( -
2) forgot to tell my mum not to wake up early to drive me
3) couldnt study at home, must lock myself in the school library.
was getting along fine
then came the bell for assembly of sorts
(ie, reporting to ct venue to sing the anthem and take pledge)
then i realized i had no where to go
D: + ;x
tiptoed into the j-block toilet and stayed there for about ten minutes
sitting on the lid of the toilet bowl
LOL.
unglam ba ;x
spent three hours in the library
the Sleep Devil was battling with the Study-Geog Angel.
swallowed both in a yawn.
mr. leong came to sit two chairs away from me
and he was freakinghell marking the econs promo paper!
tried tring to catch a glimpse of the paper
"is that 122's? is that 122's??"
his tutorial class was 120,
cherlyn walked past and went to ask him
and he said the case study wasnt well done
(or so far he marked i suppose ;x)
jee-wheeze :(
you probably wouldnt hear me saying this again,
but i so have to do well for human geog
maybe i'll scan the globalization notes into my head.
maybe i'll sleep with it under my pillow
maybe i'll record it and memorize it through sublimal hearing
maybe i'll eat it.
and this morning my very lovable diyeh was gloating
over the fact that he could be released from the Promos Demon at o945 on thursday
while i still have friday to go.
poor geographers,
one paper extra :(
then again,
we would all kill ourselves sitting for a 4-hour long geography paper,
comprising of both human and physical geog, right?
at least my mummy promised to bring me shopping this saturday
:)
yesterday received a message from vann,
wishing all 122's geographers and historians allthebest.
and its difficult times like this
you see the whole class pull together
wish each other all the best, jiayou,
i have this sweetsweet tingly feeling
hohoho.
makes me want to wish all biologists allthebest too
;D
and i think claudia wrote the poem on her blog?
to all 122s (:
ah, the largest barrier is down.
econs and chem
the combination wasnt as hard as i thought it would be
because after just about getting handcramps from essay-writing,
i was itching to do calculations.
(who knew chem would be more of explanations? -.-)
typical evaluation of papers by any normal student.
econs
case study was.. what we've been doing the past few weeks,
traffic congestion traffic congestion traffic congestion
are the teachers purposely setting it because we've done so many on it that we think it wouldnt come out?
cheeky teachers only -.-
essay questions were much easier than i expected
(but i dont mean i'll be getting good grades for it)
its just.. easier than expected lah.
but i forgot basic stuffs, like defining ;x
chem mcq was do-able.
structured was fulfilling.
have this sense of man-zu-gan or cheng-jiu-gan,
because most of the explanations can do.
and then comes to free response, to ionic equilibrium,
and i just fell apart
my whole free response section is worth no more than five marks, trust me.
needless to say,
was rather demoralized.
bytheway,
please throttle jiailang for spotting questions
he said the definition for neutralisation will come out,
and it did
;x
so yes,
probably hoping for chem to be my subpass.
tmr's physical geog,
something i can rely on at least, if not, completely, to pull up my geog marks
hopefully to a pass?
-prays
had bailey's again just now
the full name is
bailey's irish cream with a hint of mint chocolate
doesnt that sound wonderfully yummy?
;D
as i was walking home,
nearing my house already,
a car pulled out of one of the driveways
and i jumped right in front of the car, waving my arms,
and the door opened and i was pulled in
then away to ntuc we sped :D
and i tell you,
it was the most irritating trip ever.
not that i have anything against the song
"tears in heaven" by eric clapton,
but it does start to frizzle the ears when you hear it SEVEN TIMES
(which is really very long, its half an hour)
in instrumental version,
meaning the veryvery highpitched plonking of the piano
(not that i have anything against pianos too)
but really,
couldnt they find a cd with more songs?
if it continues at this rate,
the ntuc staff would be talking/eating/walking tears-in-heavens already, wouldnt you think?
while we were trooping around with the trolley
(or rather, while i was trooping around with the trolley while my mum&sis skipped around)
my mum took about four cans of mushroom
(maybe she's growing a mushroom farm?)
anyway she set it down in the already-very-full trolley
then i heard her saying in a very sad voice,
"oh no, the poor little potato chips"
(which were getting squashed by the cans)
oh. my. mama.
and my mum,
she has this habit of speaking to other motorists,
while she's in the car.
so basically, only my sister and i get to hear what she means for other people
and its not just vulgarities,
just now there was a very law-by-law taxi in front of us,
and my mum was itching to drive faster
(economists! that's the negative externalities to traffic congestion - accidents! ;b)
so she was like
"dont need so slow one la.. come, i show you"
then she cut the lane and drove off happily.
the "come la, i show you" part was hilarious,
because obviously the guy couldnt hear her
;x
and i cant forget the time she wanted to race with the motorcycle.
;x
anyway,
i have a new best friend.
introducing...
KAELYN.
jess, dont you think it sounds/looks better as khaelyn?
muahahahaha
at least i dont have any connotations to kaelyn,
so pinyi can build that image up for me (:
hopefully this new name works well (:
and yes my favourite pig in the world,
i remember the sun and the shade
i'll be skipping to the shade soon,
and we'll wait till next year for the next sun
(((:
haze is getting worse.
:(
and its ironic how interesting i find chem, and i like it
but im never able to do it
:((((
was complaining to my mum how they squeezed two content subjects in one very dreadful day
and she said
"thas the way i like it, on shot finish everything. like having children. within a few years have all my children then can sit back and watch them grow without having to repeat the processes many years in between"
words from the wise -.-
so its less than 24hours to promos
(in 24 hours, econs will be over D: )
and at this time next week,
we'll all be doing crazy things like camping in vivocity the whole day.
spent enough time here,
i must say,
for the party.
"see the heart lying on the road, still beating one, bubob, bubob"
ahahahahah ;x
haze-o-meter (otherwise known as PSI) has been climbing.
D;
this morning my mum told me my dad had to do alot of entertaining
no, he doesnt have to wear bunny-ears and tapdance,
but he does have to drink maymany..
my mum said when my dad comes back he'll be trained to hold his liquor strongstrong.
then she started stressing on me the importance of holding liquor, especially for girls.
its the importance of socialising, networking, that is,
and also so that girls wont get doped easily.
so whereas many parents dont allow their children to drink,
my mum is just about forcing it upon me (because i dont like to :D)
my sister, however, likes to drink.
but her face flares up in half a second.
woh ho ho ho ho ho.
anyway my brother brought home bailey's mint chocolate
and we just tried it.
smells very nice! :D
and taste like chocolate milk.
nicenicenice.
especially with an icecube
:)))))
was wondering if it could give me a boost for chem
then i'll drink the whole damn bottle before chem exam
and sit there giggling away at the paper.
but it didnt work any miracles
:(
ah.
miko has new friends
the rats in the garden i think.
just now while i was in the open kitchen
one popped out from the corner, and disappeared in a flash.
but its more of a cuddly mouse than a menacing rat though
:(
and its super cute
:DDD
ah, the haze is back.
realized that if i spend one hour per chapter for chem,
i will still have five hours left to do practice.
in theory of course.
its 'mazing how i can lament the lack of time to study for promos
and yet be able to come online and blog.
such is the distraction the computer poses to me,
and also because its lunch time anyway
lalala.
and if i stare any more at econs i'll be talking funny
hmmmm .. are all mums the same?
my mum was going out, wearing very casual polo tee and denim skirt (not denim miniskirt -.-)
then i asked, "where are you going?"
"dont ask lah" -walks down stairs
"wear skirt, look so preeeeetttyyyy leh"
"really?"
then she smilesmile one, come back up stairs to ask me again, "reallyreallyreally?"
then i followed her downstairs,
she kept asking "why, how much money you want? purposely come an flatter me?"
she was eating yoghurt
i sat on the steps and was like
"wahhhh wait you go out pple think you twenty plus years old how?"
"then i go out and get boyfriend lor, besides your daddy not here"
OUCH MAN.
:O
she was like "heeheehee.. teaching you the wrong values hor?"
then i said "waaahhh your slit so high"
"ya lor your mummy purposely go and cut higher one"
- insert her giving a lame face here-
"my mummy so hip ah."
"you siao arh, my daughters not hip then you want me to be hip"
"must lead by example ma, hor?"
a few nights ago
she went for classes,
my sister talked to her online.
Elaine (her real msn nick) says:
i'm still in class
carin (my sister, not her real msn nick) says:
HELLO!
carin says:
you are teaching me wrong things yknow...=D (by coming online during lectures)
Elaine says:
me not paying attention
carin says:
still dare say!
Elaine says:
lecturer so boring la
tsktsktsk,
at least she doesnt expect us to listen to lectures then ;D
and the way she says "me not paying attention, me coming home already"
makes me laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh
heeheeheeeee
my mummy's so cute
:D
tried this thing out earlier in the morning.
its damn accurate leh.
think of a letter between A & W.
(only between A and W!)
repeat it out loud as you scroll down.
keep going...
dont stop...
now, think of an animal beginning with that letter.
repeat it out loud as you continue scrolling down,
now, think of a man/woman's name which begin with the last letter of that animal.
thought of it yet?
right, almost there..
now, using your hand which you are not using to scroll down,
count the letters in the name on the fingers of that hand
take that hand, and hold it in front of your face at face level.
look at your palm closely, the lines of your palm
do the lines take the form of the first letter of the persons' name?
of course not.
now take that hand and smack yourself in the head.
(yjcians, we're better off studying)

hmmm,

(:
did i mention i have the passport to 222'o7?
xinyi gave it to me yesterday
awwww -melts
claud said xnn beat her to it,
but i appreciate them both!
my pw groupmates leh, dont playplay.
on a random thought,
pw isnt as stressful or nerve-wrecking as some of the other people are saying,
probably because i have a great group
;D
we received our pedometers manymany days ago from our *ahem* efficient p.e. rep..
it came with a guidebook of sorts from health empire enterprise,
and it was... interesting.
Weight Loss - Reasons to Succeed (some examples)
- you'll look good in clothes
- you'll look good without clothes
- you will be able to run around with your kids
- you will only need one airline seat (and people wont mind sitting next to you)
- weight loss will mean you'll wobble less when you run
- things wont hang over your waistband
- you'll only have one chin
- no one will ask you when the baby is due
- weight loss will mean you can shop in regular clothing stores
- people will judge you less (especially when you eat in public)
ah,
a weekend to promos (:
just read the newspaper,
and came across a veryvery apt line,
"i cant put toothpaste back in the tube"
- mel gibson.
i dontknow why its apt,
when there's ntohing relevant about it now at this point of time.
just thinking that regret is quite useless.
edited part of the wr,
cut down by fivehundred words or so,
HOHOHO.
the best thing is
there were so many versions of "wr" and "final wr" in my email and words,
i didnt know which was the correct one, lol.
okay,
intensive econs-ing
(:
happyhappyhappy birthday to our dearest xiaodi, aldwyn tan!

wahlau, still say what, wanna retain come yj and call vann "dajie"
-_____________-
early this morning,
gave my dad a farewell hug.
he'll be based in tianjing,
and only coming home during chinese new year
-sighs
the sacrifices one makes for the family...
makes me love and appreciate my daddy more.
one of his tooth had been hurting the past month or so,
but my mum said he didnt notice it cos of stress,
so yesterday was the first time he noticed it was aching.
went to the dentist to have it extracted
this morning my mum was like,
"your daddy yesterday pluck out his tooth, now cannot kiss me :( "
lololololol.
during chinese we were talking about puppets,
when theyre not being used,
theyre cast aside.
are we your puppets?
mr lim was mean today.
he was explaining how come the pi bond can only form after the sigma bond.
"if a fat boy wants to kiss a fat girl, their stomach must meet first right?"
if that werent enough, he continued like,
"maybe only jialiang gets it"
DAMMMMN MEAAN CAN?
LOL.
at least jialiang is an open person
;D
oh yes,
during assembly today,
they were giving out awards for the fittest boy/girl for each level.
the fittest guys were edward ( for j1) and huayi ( for j2)
SPOT THE SIMILARITY! :D
both are from odac lehhhhhhh!
hohohoho!
odac, kemama :D
-----------------------------------------
today was the day of reckoning.
its huge load of everyone's chest i say.
our dearest *minyi,
you have always questioned us on what sort of friends we are, and i dont think we have the answers, because we are who you perceive us to be. if we didnt care about you, we wouldnt have tried to suppress what we felt. or maybe, from the other point of view, we should have told you so that you could mend your bad habits, but really, nobody likes to be the bad angel. today we've finally come clean with each other. hurting, raw, blunt, but clean. we know how you feel, how you think, and you know what we feel, what we think. i really hope this would be a fresher start for all of us, we all want to see us flow together again.
and all this wouldnt really have been possible (so cliche ;x) without claudia. her part in this whole issue has been reallyreally invaluable (or valuable, which is, whatthehell, the same thing? -.-) i daresay that i myself, xinyi, vanessa, are not "strong" enough to head on to a confrontation. by strong i dont mean we're timid, intimidated frail souls. by strong i mean not willing to hurt (although i dont mean claudia is willing to hurt -.-), and thinking too much of what the other party might feel. we needed somebody like claudia, somebody straightforward, direct, firm but not harsh (or maybe she was? ;x). i think it would actually be harder on our part to face up to her/you, because we were "closer". so i think we really owe claudia one.
*claud
you dont know how much you helped all of us, thankyou.
finally this chapter is closed, i do hope it is.
we all want to believe in ourselves, dont we?
bloody fishing hell lah.
:O
DINNER BREAAAAKK!
its very selfproclaimed, HAHA!
anyway today got to know more or less all the dailywork and CA marks
basically i have to pass (promos) to pass (the whole year overall)
econs, chem & geog, all hanging at about 49-50
its quite a relief actually,
i was stunned by my chem daily work marks then i asked mr.lim how he calculated it.
he was like, "why too high arh?"
ohmygosh, NO!
:DDDDD
whereas the air is getting hazier and hazier,
geog is getting clearer and clearer,
and im happy
;D
nat, claud and i went to find ms.koh (the econs lecturer) for her concise demand&supply lecture notes.
she wasnt around, cos she didnt pick up the phone
but a man picked up,
and nat asked, "is this miss koh?"
"uh, no?"
LOL!
later we called mr. syn
and i suppose claud & i were too distracting,
the conversation went something like
mr.syn : "yes?"
nat (to us) : "uh, call him for what ah?"
mr.syn : "you dont know why you call me?!"
nat&claud are a barrel of laughs (:
went for lunch,
was very touched by them (claudia and jialiang, xinyi vann & minyi, & a little bit of nat)
they were like discussing which fruit juice to let me drink
the fruit which has the most vitamin C and all,
so that my cough gets better soon
awwwwww
-melts
i have the best friends in the world ((:
including a new one called trisha/tammy/tasha/tommy/tongtong,
lololololol.
okayokay, joking only dahling (:
shall have an emergency chem-x conference when my promos are kickass-ed done alrights?
in the meantime you can go around getting used to being tammy tpjc.
ahahhaha
OKAYOKAY, SORRY, JOKE,JOKE.
was reading the paper after dinner,
ohmyfishingseaweed,
the lawyer guy or something,
made off with $11million of clients' money
and left his wife and kids,
and the wife only found out about who her husband actually was through the newspaper
i daresay the past month must have been hell for her :(
the photo of them published,
them dancing,
its like,
to the woman,
she's thinking, "you're the man of my life, my husband, who'll stand beside me through thick&thin, better or for worse, till death do us part"
she trusts the freaking guy and was the guy thinking, "lady, im going to ruin your life"
what gives?!
the guy runs off with the money,
with another woman,
whom he had introduced to his kids too!
and leaves behind the wife,
whom he wrote a short four-line letter
saying "its the end of us" or something like that.
this has gotten me so pissed,
i say,
THIS MAN SHOULD GO AND DIE AND BURN IN HELL FOR ETERNITY!
who am i to deem his fate,
but whocares?!
realized that what we're studying now is so relevant in the world,
especially geog and econs lah.
the newspaper is chocked full of examples, real life situations.
ah okayokay, back to geoging.
like many others,
i so cannot wait for promo's to end,
but then again i dont want it to start either.
:(
---------------------------------------
my mum was asking me,
why i was talking so loud on the phone the other day,
and i told her, in brief, without naming names,
and she said,
of course it'd be hard to go back to the way it was,
the damage's already been done.
and what hell of a damage it was.
so you see,
is this what you want,
i dont really think that's such thing as an on-off friendship,
you cant take "breaks" from being friends.
to me, friendship was always very simple,
you get friends by being one yourself.
you dont need to work at being friends,
and friends are all around, no matter the varying degrees of closeness.
of course,
there are needs for trueblue, always-there companions,
is there really a need to spill everything&anything to one, and only one confidante?
not saying we should pick a bunch of people and tell them different things at different times,
im just saying that
it doesnt really matter not finding the other side of the glove,
the other chopstick,
as long as there are people around you who are willing to listen, and be there.
this year,
its become increasingly complicated.
just recently ive been feeling more hypocritical than ever,
and i dont think i can actually do anything about it.
nat said, we dont want to, but we cant help but feel it.
which is true,
and i dont know what to do
what to think
what to say
what to believe
how to act.
the benefit of the doubt?
the understanding,
or the lashing out and explosion?
its revolving around the same thing/person,
hey, you never know,
for once,
just once,
the whole world really does seem to revolve around you,
and thats not really a good thing.
like you read this (:
better than i was,
more than i am,
and all of this happened
by taking your hand
and who i am now
is who i wanted to be
and now that we're together,
i'm stronger than ever
i'm happy and free
oh, it's a beautiful thing,
don't think i can keep it all in
if you asked me
why i've changed,
all i gotta do
is say your sweet name
i just gotta let you know
what it is that won't let me go
it's your love,
it just does something to me,
it sends a shock right through me,
i can't get enough
so if you wonder,
about the spell im under,
it's your love
-happy two, darling (:
